On 29 May, NILU welcomed Sissel Hansen from Norwegian Centre for Organic Agriculture (NORSØK) to discuss ongoing work related to environmental gas monitoring.

During the visit, the MISO team presented the project and provided a tour of NILU’s laboratory facilities, including the calibration laboratory and climate chamber. The discussions focused on exploring how MISO’s ambient gas monitoring technology could support new application areas.

Following the visit and based on encouraging results from previous field testing within the MISO project, plans are now underway to test MISO ambient gas monitoring devices in a new operational setting, with installation scheduled for June 2026.

🤝 The visit highlights the value of collaboration between research communities and the importance of exploring new opportunities for environmental monitoring technologies.
