During the summer of 2026, scientist Lea Panknin and Prof. Claire Treat (AWI and Aarhus University ) have been processing and analyzing the autochamber data from the MISO Pilot in Denmark with the inline sensor and the data matching from Senseair and NILU. They have released the first results for 3-week-period flux measurements from end of April through middle of May, 2026.
The right photo shows a screen shot of the results that will go into the MISO final technical report, they are really good. The variability from the MISO sensors (based on K96) is substantially higher than the LGR at low flux rates, but the means and medians are nearly spot-on. At higher rates (like the ditch), they are performing comparably.
“Really nice results, I’m really pleased, good work team!!” , Claire Treat was so excited 🙂
These are the impressive results from Wetland Pilot from April to May 2026, where MISO team (Claire Treat and Lea Panknin from AWI and Aarhus University, Huy Duong Gia and Torbjørn Heltne from NILU ; Bakhram Gaynullin and Benoit Wastine from Senseair ) installed numbers of Gas Flux Chambers, as shown in left photo (Large autochamber setup and close-up view of sensor installation in an open chamber and closed chamber), for testing gas flux measurements in Wetland conditions.
