We are excited to be running the final field pilot of the MISO system in a Danish wetland, marking an important step towards fully autonomous greenhouse gas monitoring in challenging environments.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞: • 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 – continuous gas flux and ambient gas measurements in a complex wetland environment
• 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 – fully off-grid monitoring powered by solar and batteries, targeting at least 4 weeks of continuous operation
• 𝐄𝐧𝐝-𝐭𝐨-𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐇𝐆 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 – from on-site sensing to data visualization via the cloud platform
• 𝐎𝐧-𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 – testing ML-based models updated directly on the device during operation
• 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – benchmarking MISO sensor performance against an Aeris reference instrument in real time
🎯 This pilot represents a key milestone towards delivering scalable, reliable, and autonomous monitoring solutions for CO₂ and CH₄ emissions across diverse environments.
